About Jett Road Studios
The studio features a custom-built podcast table which can seat up to three people. The host chair (below right) has an eye-line to a producer’s station (below left) which is outfitted with a microphone, headphones, and video monitor. The host monitor (below, upper left) is used for remote guests.
The studio is outfitted with Shure MV7 microphones as well as a Rode NT1 mic for VO.
Three Canon XC-15 cameras capture video. The cameras all connect to a Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro which can be used for monitoring and streaming.
The studio has all the functionality of a modern podcast studio, but in a relaxing space where the technology does not seem overwhelming or counter-productive to creativity.
